About our Bed & Breakfast
Enjoy the comforts of home-away-from home at our very comfortable and relaxed Surrey House Bed and Breakfast located on a quiet crescent in central southwest London. You may be greeted by one or both of the very sociable cats in residence.
Surrey House provides a very safe environment.
We are:
- very easily accessible from Hwys. 401 and 402
- a 5 minute drive to Victoria Hospital (Westminster Campus - Commissioners Road or directly by bus)
- 7-10 minutes to the John Labatt Centre, the Convention Centre and downtown London
- 12-15 minutes to the University of Western Ontario, University Hospital and St. Joseph's Hospital
- 5 minute drive to the London/St. Thomas Real Estate Board office and training centre
- a short 10 minute drive to Boler Mountain for skiing enthusiasts
- within 5 minutes of Westview Funeral Home/Chapel
- a 10 minute drive to the London Aquatic Centre
Located within walking distance is Westmount Mall, several eateries and shopping facilities. Also, very close to bus route to various locations in the city.
We offer the Victorian Room which has a QUEEN BED and own television, Polo Room which has a DOUBLE BED, and Blue Room (Cafe au Lait) which has 2 TWIN BEDS. These three guestrooms share bathroom facilities, or a private bathroom can be arranged if requested. Also for WEEKEND OCCUPANCY, we offer the Master Suite with large, private ensuite.
During the summer months, enjoy the comfort of central air.
After a comfortable night's sleep, enjoy breakfast in our bright and cheerful kitchen, or formal diningroom, or weather permitting on deck overlooking a picturesque garden. We offer a choice of either continental, full breakfast and we gladly adjust our menu to accommodate guests with food allergies and those preferring a vegetarian breakfast. Our menu includes a choice of eggs, toast, home-made muffins, coffee/tea, fresh fruit, cereal and juice.
BED-SITTING room IN LOWER LEVEL with private bathroom, double bed, TV, desk is available for long-term stays. Very clean, bright and comfortable. Weekly/monthly rates. LIMITED kitchen facilities available. LAUNDRY SERVICES NOT PROVIDED.
Enjoy your day in London, or spend a relaxing day reading in the quiet livingroom, or watching TV in main floor family room.
Smoking is only permitted outside, being mindful of guests.
**Special rates for 10 days or longer stays. As well, a discount of $10.00 per room per night is offered for a 2 room booking.
