Located in the Pond Mills area of South London,which is an environmentally rich neighbourhood boasting 6 ponds that are the bright jewels of the area. These ponds are unique to the world, in that they are "kettle ponds" formed by blocks of ice left over when the last glaciers started melting some 13,000 years ago.
Choose breakfast in the dining room or the warm-weather solarium and then stroll through the many trails and see the wetlands which include bog, marsh and swamp forests. This is one of the richest areas for birds in London, with more than 200 species recorded.
